InCred Capital acquires Singapore-based firm S Cube Capital
InCred Capital, has announced the integration of Singapore-based S Cube Capital into InCred Global Wealth Pte, subject to regulatory approvals.
The acquisition will strengthen InCred Capital’s offshore product offerings by adding regulated fund vehicles to its Singapore platform. It also follows the firm’s recent acquisition of Arrow Capital DIFC, boosting its presence across the Singapore-GCC-India investment corridor.
S Cube Capital is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and focuses on institutional investment solutions.
NSE Launches Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) to formalize Gold Market
The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has launched Electronic Gold Receipts (EGRs), a new platform designed to make gold trading more transparent, secure, and organised in India.
EGRs are digital certificates that represent physical gold stored in SEBI-approved vaults. These receipts are held electronically in demat accounts and can be traded on the exchange like other financial securities. Each EGR is fully backed by physical gold.
According to NSE, the new system will help connect the physical gold market with the financial market, while giving investors a safer and regulated way to buy and hold gold digitally. Investors will also be able to convert EGRs into physical gold when needed
