Sahi Raises $33 Million in Series B Round

Stock trading app Sahi has raised $33 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel, with participation from Elevation Capital. About $20 million came from Accel Growth, while the rest was invested by existing backers. The round values the company at around $200 million—more than 3x its previous $60 million valuation.

Founded in 2023 by Dale Vaz and Manish Jain, the Bengaluru-based startup began operations in January 2025.

Sahi currently offers futures & options (F&O) and cash trading. The company plans to use the funds to strengthen its tech and AI capabilities, launch new trading products, and grow its user base.

Zerodha Shuts Down Zero1 Network Amid Finfluencer Regulations

Discount brokerage Zerodha has shut down its media initiative, Zero1 Network, due to regulatory uncertainty around financial influencers (finfluencers).

Launched on October 24, 2023, Zero1 Network collaborated with popular content creators. The initiative, built with financial literacy platform Learnapp, aimed to spread financial education through engaging social media content. A Zerodha spokesperson confirmed the move, stating that increasing regulatory concerns led to the decision.

Going forward, Zerodha plans to manage all its content channels internally, focusing on greater control over the content it produces while continuing its efforts in financial education

Axis Trustee Launches PRISM to Boost Digital Client Experience

Axis Trustee Services has launched PRISM, a digital-first platform to improve client engagement and streamline trustee services. The platform was unveiled by Amitabh Chaudhry, MD & CEO of Axis Bank, along with Rahul Choudhary, MD & CEO of Axis Trustee Services.

PRISM focuses on automating workflows, digitising client interactions, and integrating compliance management. It replaces manual, paperwork-heavy processes with a unified digital system for transactions and reporting.  The initiative aligns with Securities and Exchange Board of India efforts to improve ease of doing business by enhancing transparency and efficiency in financial markets.

With this launch, Axis Trustee aims to move towards a fintech-driven operating model while strengthening its digital capabilities.

RBI Cancels Paytm Payments Bank License

The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the banking licence of Paytm Payments Bank effective April 24, 2026. The central bank said it will approach the High Court to wind up the bank under the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. RBI cited serious governance lapses and said the bank’s operations were not in the interest of depositors and the public.

Dream Sports Launches AI Stock Broking Platform DreamStreet

Dream Sports, the parent company of Dream11, has launched an AI-powered stock broking platform called DreamStreet. The platform is aimed at first-time investors, offering simple investing through AI insights and expert recommendations.

Currently, users can invest in stocks and ETFs, while features like F&O and IPO investments will be added soon. DreamStreet also features an AI assistant “Veda” and access to SEBI-registered advisors. The platform is led by Rahul Mirchandani (CEO), along with Karan Bansal and Nikhil Lalvani.

Sahamati Raises ₹50 Crore to Expand Account Aggregator Network

Sahamati has raised ₹50 crore from over 30 financial institutions, including banks, NBFCs, and fintech companies. The funds will be used to grow the Account Aggregator ecosystem, improve technology and policy frameworks, and build stronger institutional support.

This move signals a shift from building infrastructure to driving large-scale adoption of consent-based financial data sharing across sectors.

Dhan Launches Gold Vault for Gold & Silver Investments
