HyperNorm AI Raises ₹19.5 Crore in Seed Funding
AI-powered wealth management startup HyperNorm AI has raised $2.2 million in a seed funding round. The round was backed by Capital 2B, SenseAI Ventures, Boundless Ventures, iOPEX Technologies, and angel investors.
Founded in 2024 by Keyur Faldu and Peeyush Jain, HyperNorm AI provides an AI-driven decision intelligence platform for wealth managers and RIAs. The platform helps identify portfolio issues and recommends actions aligned with client goals.
The company will use the fresh capital to enhance its products, expand into the US and other global markets, and strengthen its engineering and AI research teams.
Nuvama Gets SEBI Approval to Launch Mutual Fund Business
Nuvama Wealth Management has received final approval from SEBI to enter the mutual fund industry, expanding its wealth and asset management offerings.
The mutual fund business will operate through Nuvama Asset Management Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Nuvama plans to initially launch products under SEBI’s Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) framework and gradually expand its range of mutual fund offerings.
Dhan Launches US Stock Investing Platform
Investment platform Dhan has launched US stock investing for Indian investors, allowing users to invest in US-listed companies directly through the Dhan app.
The service is offered through GIFT City and is integrated into Dhan’s existing platform, eliminating the need for separate accounts or workarounds. Users can access features such as SIP and Super Order for US stocks and start investing with as little as $1.
The launch expands Dhan’s global investment offerings and provides investors with a regulated and transparent route to access US markets.
AMFI Suspends Stable Money’s Mutual Fund Distribution Business
The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has suspended the mutual fund distribution activities of Stable Finserv, the mutual fund distribution arm of fintech startup Stable Money. The action temporarily restricts the company from carrying out mutual fund distribution services.
Equal AI Raises $30 Million in Series B Funding
Equal AI Assistant has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Prosus Ventures and Tomales Bay Capital.
The company says more than 1 million Indians use its AI assistant every month, with over 350,000 daily active users. Founded in 2022 by Keshav Reddy, Equal AI started as India’s first AI Call Assistant and has grown into one of the country’s largest consumer AI voice platforms.
The new funding will be used to expand its consumer products and strengthen AI services across communication, finance, shopping, lifestyle, and concierge solutions.

CREST, an Indian wealth management startup, has raised $3.1 million in a pre-seed funding round.
The company is building an AI-powered fractional family office platform that offers wealth advisory services to entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals.
The fresh funds will be used to improve its technology platform, expand its investment and family office teams, strengthen compliance systems, and grow its asset management business across public markets and real estate.
