Centricity Raises $20 Million in Seed Funding

Centricity has raised US$20 million (approximately ₹168 crore) in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed India. The round also saw continued support from existing investor Burman Family Office, along with new investors including Paramark Ventures, MS Dhoni Family Office, Panthera Peak, NB Ventures, Neelesh Bhatnagar, and Rushab Bhatnagar.

Notable angel investors Ritesh Agarwal (OYO) and Aakash Chaudhary (Co-founder, Aakash Educational Services) also participated in the round.

Bank of America acquire up to 49.9% in Jio Credit Limited.

Bank of America has entered into a joint venture agreement with Jio Financial Services to acquire up to 49.9% stake in Jio Credit Limited.  The investment could be worth up to ₹18,268 crore, including equity shares and warrants, if fully subscribed.

SIDBI backs Cedar Hill Capital fintech fund

SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India), through the Government of India’s Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 (FFS 2.0), as an institutional LP in Cedar Hill Capital fintech fund.

Taghash  built the WhatsApp AI Agent for funds.

Taghash introduced a new WhatsApp AI Agent designed to help venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) firms manage their work more efficiently. The new AI agent allows fund teams to access important information through simple WhatsApp conversations.  Users can retrieve approved deal, portfolio, fund and limited partner (LP) data, check pending follow-ups, identify relationship connections, draft messages and start operational tasks directly from WhatsApp. According to the company, WhatsApp has become a widely used platform for business communication in India.

InRisk Labs Raises $ 27 Mn

InRisk Labs has raised $27 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Northpoint Capital. EarthRe Insurance IFSC Limited, a technology-driven, non-life reinsurance company, has become the first locally incorporated reinsurer in India’s GIFT City after receiving IFSCA approval for its reinsurance license, as its parent, InRisk Labs, raises funding round.
