The Government of Odisha, in partnership with Singapore-based Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), has launched the BharatNetra Initiative with the inauguration of the Integrated Global Financial Technology Capability Hub (I-GFTCH) in Bhubaneswar. The initiative follows a four-pillar strategy — STEP (Space, Talent, Ecosystem and Policy) — to accelerate FinTech and InsurTech innovation and position Odisha as a global digital finance gateway.
Leveraging Odisha’s strategic eastern coast location and the APAC fintech corridor, BharatNetra aims to drive large-scale digital transformation. Under I-GFTCH, Startup Réseau will conduct year-round bootcamps, incubation and acceleration programs to support startups.
As part of the initiative, Black Swan Summit 2026 will be held on 5–6 February in Bhubaneswar, bringing together policymakers, technologists, financial institutions and investors to shape India’s financial future. Ahead of the summit, roadshows will be organized in Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru and Mumbai to foster collaboration across India’s FinTech ecosystem.
