Indus has officially announced that it is now backed by Rainmatter, the investment initiative of Zerodha. Zerodha has played a major role in transforming retail investing in India. With this new backing, Indus aims to further strengthen its mission of making it easy for people living outside India to invest in the country.
Indus focuses on enabling global investors to participate in India’s growth story by allowing them to invest directly from their local bank accounts.

Choice International acquires 51% stake in Fintoo Wealth
Choice International Limited has received the required approvals and has acquired a 51% equity stake in Fintoo Wealth Private Limited.
The acquisition was completed for an approximate consideration of Rs 10 crore.
Debt relief platform FREED raises Rs 60 crore from Aavishkaar Capital
Debt relief platform FREED has raised Rs 60 crore (around $6.5 million) in a new funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital. Existing investors Sorin Investments, Piper Serica, and Sattva Ventures also participated in the round.
The company plans to use the new funds to expand its operations, enter new cities and regions, improve its underwriting and product offerings, and build stronger partnerships with institutions.

Wint Wealth reports strong growth in FY25
WintWealth delivered strong financial performance for the financial year ending March 2025. The company’s operating revenue increased 2.6 times, while its losses reduced by more than 60% to Rs 8.2 crore.
The six-year-old company reported operating revenue of Rs 44.5 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 17.2 crore in FY24.
At the same time, Wint Wealth significantly reduced its losses, bringing them down to Rs 8.2 crore during the last financial year
