Capitalmind Secures Investment from Rainmatter

Capitalmind Secures Series-A Investment from Rainmatter Following Mutual Fund Launch. Rainmatter, the investment arm of Zerodha, has made a Series-A investment in Capitalmind Financial Services Pvt Ltd

The investment follows the launch of Capitalmind‘s mutual fund business, with its first scheme — the Capitalmind Flexi Cap Fund — raising ₹45 crore in its recent New Fund Offer (NFO). Notably, 75% of these assets came via direct plans, with half of those routed through Zerodha’s Coin platform, showcasing strong investor trust and synergy between the firms.

This collaboration also cements a 15-year relationship between Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath and Capitalmind founder Deepak Shenoy, who advised Zerodha during its early years. Both firms share a commitment to investor education through platforms like Varsity, TradingQnA, YouTube, and Capitalmind’s blogs and podcasts.
